From One Little Boy to Another

When I was little, things were weird. My path was fraught with many trials. No, a little boy should not have to go through that, however, it DOES shape who a person is. Maybe it can make us stronger and wiser, but more importantly, it can help one contribute something worthwhile while they're here.
The little boy in the second photo is the son of a man that contacted me to ask if I'd send them a signed copy. I was glad to do it.
I started drawing at around age 8. I was inspired by the beautiful area I lived in and the Spider-Man comic I had.  Life was very new, exciting and full of wonder. Now, think of  this little boy who now owns my book. What if HE ends up inspired by my art? Wow! Now, that would be marvelous.
If you ever wonder if trying that deep down urge, that hunger to do something outside the lines, or something people around you may laugh at, DO IT! That could be a good sign there's something truly worthwhile around the corner. With courage and imagination, you can create magic. Trust me, I know.

May that little boy with my book always seek to find the glorious things that can be found.

I really liked what you wrote about contributing something that someone could benefit from. I’ve always have believed that I could; I hoped that I would. So far though, my fears get in the way, trying to be the perfect person to be of value has been quite a challenge for me. But I’m not a giver-upper. I believe and have witnessed that though I may not take the road I wish to, eventually, I will be led there through the use of my thinking and imagination. Everything that has happened in my life - through my choices or others’ choices can be be used for my highest good and for the benefit of others.
