Well, 2017 has finally come to a close and I, for one am quite pleased to see the back of it. Don't get me wrong, there were some great moments in 2017, both personally and professionally, but those great moments seemed to be more hard-fought than is normally the case. I did however, make some wonderful new friends.
A new year brings an opportunity to start fresh. And for me, that means fresh paintings, and letting the paint just fly, no matter how crazy it may seem. It's time for this guy to come flying out his shell and let the chips fall where they may. It's time to take some of the chances I've been wanting to take. Why not, what do I have to lose? Well, aside from pride, self respect, being subject to ridicule, LOL. This new piece, which I call White Dove, is a prime example of that. It's raw, it's honest, it's visually pleasing, and it's different. It may leave you wondering what on Earth I'm trying to say with it. I know what I was getting at, but art is really in the eye of the beholder, so I'm more interested in what you think the piece says.
